A FOUDROYANT MOMENT

It's late afternoon, some would say evening, and the MUSEologies Studio is in a playful, PROCRASTINATING, frittering state-of-mind. Thus, we turn to a recent and treasured gift from some highly respected grammarians and PHDs of the spoken and written word:

Hail, Hail
Goddess of The Sanctuary
And
Sir Ralph of Armamentarium*
We thank thee for Simon Hertnon's:

Today, as one in the Studio worked to define the true antagonist in a particularly complicated story...
The Earth Moved
The Windows Rattled
The Air Crackled
With A FOUDROYANT MOMENT!

Striking as with Lightening
Sudden and overwhelming in effect
Stunning
Dazzling
All was revealed!

And then, we discovered this jewel...

FOR ALL YOU WORD CONNOISSEURS OUT THERE,
YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE THIS...

We bow our heads in reverence to read
Cesare Girlado's brilliant prose:

Cheers for the carousing between Brahms & Liszt
The boozy, muzzy, woozy wisecracking
The chit chat, the tittle tattle
The sing song with no ding dong

And when the FOUDROYANT razzle dazzle
Of the katzenjammer** appears
The hoity toity, the cantankerous, the wishy washy
Will feel the heebie-jeebies
And nimble footedly disappear

Glossary of Muzzy, Woozy Words:

* Armamentarium: The total store of available resources. One who possesses factual, experimental and speculative data.

** Katzenjammer: A German word literally meaning "cat's wail." Hence, "discordant sound." Sometimes used to indicate a general state of depression or bewilderment.
