THE MUSE OF LOVE

We had the good fortune of learning about Dr. Buscaglia over twenty years ago. He was the ‘Mother Theresa’ of USC (The University of Southern California). We can’t recommend his books and lectures enough.

Here is a morsel from Dr. Buscaglia’s work that speaks to the power of being a Muse:

The majority of us lead quiet, unheralded lives as we pass through this world. There will most likely be no ticker-tape parades for us, no monuments created in our honor. But that does not lessen our possible impact, for there are scores of people waiting for someone just like us to come along; people who will appreciate our compassion, our unique talents. Someone who will live a happier life merely because we took the time to share what we had to give. Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word , a listening ear, an honest compliment or the smallest act of caring; all of which have a potential to turn a life around. It’s overwhelming to consider the continuous opportunities there are to make our love felt.

The mission of this blogposium is to INSPIRE.
If we touch only one life during our lifetime; we have tasted the nectar of success!

Royce,
Thank you so much for featuring Leo! I love him, and I love his work. The excerpt you featured is so very true...a Guiding Light for us to remember and live by. All loving gestures are so very potent..and have a rippling affect often far beyond our realization. Thank you for this reminder. You too..are a Muse of Love and Inspiration.

And, thank you for the wonderful post on my blog...what a treat! You ooze creativity and never cease to inspire me.
Creative blessings to you,
Cheryl
