A DECLARATION OF CREATIVE INDEPENDENCE©

The Unanimous Declaration of all Museologists,

When, in the course of Creative Events, it becomes necessary for one Creative to dissolve unhealthy Perfectionism, Creative Paralysis, Fear of Failure, and Self-Sabotage which have disconnected them from their imagination, inspiration and expression…the Creative must declare the Causes which impel them to action.

We, The Muses of The World, hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Luminescent Souls are created equal, that they are endowed, by their Imagination and Inspiration, with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Creative Expression and Happiness.

That to secure these Rights, Muses are directed to enlighten a Creative; that whenever any Form of unhealthy Perfectionism, Paralysis, Fear of Failure or Self-Sabotage becomes destructive of these Ends, it is the Right of the Creative to alter or abolish it, and to institute new Awareness, Thinking, Rituals, Structures and Habits, laying the Foundation on such Principles, and organizing its Powers in such Form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Creative Expression and Happiness.

Passion indeed, will dictate that Creatives long established, should embrace Change for light and illuminating Causes; and accordingly all Experiences hath shown, that Creatives are more disposed to suffer, while Creative Abuses are sufferable, Creatives must right themselves by abolishing the Forms of unhealthy Perfectionism, Paralysis, Fear of Failure and Self-Sabotage they are accustomed. It is a Creative’s Right, it is their Duty, to throw off such Shackles, and to provide new Guards for their future Creative Security, Expression and Happiness!

We, therefore, the Muses of the Infinite Universe, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Creative Spirit for the Rectitude of our Intentions, do, in the Name, and by the Authority of the good and gifted, solemnly Publish and Declare, That all Creatives are, and of Right ought to be, FREE and INDEPENDENT, that they are absolved from all unhealthy Perfectionism, Paralysis, Fear of Failure and Self-Sabotage; Creatives have full power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which INDEPENDENT CREATIVES may of right do. We mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our Sacred Honor!
