In 2008 my husband, Jackson, and I flew from Oregon to Florida in the middle of hurricane season to buy a male red with white tabby Maine Coon. I made Jackson ride roller coasters for nine hours in Orlando. We drove across the state to Cape Kennedy and learned about rocket ships. Drove to the coast and swam in the Atlantic Ocean. Then headed north. We did visit The Fountain of Youth. And we did drink the water, learned Flordian history, and fed the peacocks. It was a middle-age adventure. Currently, we are showing Hunt for Red October (Hunter) in the CFA's 2010/2011 NW Region cat show season.
